Simmie Charles DeVille Sr. was born in Houston, Texas on December 1, 1958. He passed away in Beaumont, Texas on May 17, 2008 at the age of 49, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his parents Donald Ray DeVille Sr. and Juanita Lois DeVille of Montgomery, TX; son and daughter-in-law Simmie Charles DeVille Jr. and Samantha DeVille of Spring, TX; sons, Sean Ray and Justin Robert DeVille of Montgomery, TX; brother and sister-in-law Donald Ray DeVille Jr. and Terry Ann DeVille of Hermleigh, TX; Niece and husband Misty Ann and Seth T. Mangasarian of Highland Park,IL; Niece and husband Donna Renee and Kurry Mangold of Hermleigh, TX; Great Nephew, Logan Kyle Mangold of Hermleigh, TX; three aunts, one uncle and numerous cousins; long time girlfriend and best friend Stacy Wells of Coldspring, TX. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. Visitation for Simmie will be from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, May 19, 2008 at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, Montgomery, Texas.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 in the Chapel of Sam Houston Funeral Home, Montgomery, Texas followed by the interment at Forest Park The Woodlands.
