Jack Faudree Crowe 84, joined his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven on Friday, January 23, 2009. He was born on December 21, 1924 in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, to the late John Edward and Faye Elizabeth Crowe. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Bette Louise Bookamer Crowe of Montgomery; daughter, Linda Crowe Sturdevant and son-in-law Jimmy Sturdevant of Argyle, and son, John Christopher Crowe and daughter-in-law, Heather Crowe of Tomball. He is survived by his grandchildren; Adam Christopher Sturdevant and Joy Elizabeth Sturdevant of Dallas; Randall James, Jacob Ridge and Scott Lebus Hartsfield of Tomball. He is also survived by his sister, Shirley Ann Crowe Teasdale of North Carolina; niece, Pamela Teasdale Waite of New York; nephews, Dean Teasdale and Clark Teasdale of Colorado, and Scott Teasdale of Illinois. After serving in World War II as a member of the United States Army, Jack graduated from Penn State University and began his 30 year career with US Steel. He retired to Walden on Lake Conroe in 1987, where he enjoyed many years of friends, family, sailing and golf. Jack was a life long member of the Catholic Church and an active member in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plantersville, Texas. Always a humble servant, Jack was a lifetime blood donor, served as past President of the Walden POA, board member of the Walden Utility District, and volunteered for over 10 years with Knights of Columbus, and St. Vincent De Paul Society. Jack was an avid Penn State Football and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was loved and adored by his wife, family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 26th from 6pm to 8pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plantersville. Jack’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 27th starting at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s. You are invited to leave his family memorial condolences on our website at www.shmfh.com
