| | | Delona Mae Gerstenberg was born on June 6, 1962 in Festus, MO and passed away on February 13, 2009 in Montgomery, TX. Dee was a dedicated mother and provider for her family. She drove a school bus for Magnolia ISD for 3 years and for Conroe ISD for 2 years. All of her students brought an abundance of joy to her life. She recently had begun to find a great amount of confidence and companionship in her friends at Mary Kay. Dee leaves behind her husband, Dennis Gerstenberg; four children, Stephanie Harrington, Crystal Franklin, Mathew Hickman-Martin, and Shawn Martin; step-daughters, Crystal Gerstenberg, Irene Gerstenberg and Sarah Gerstenberg; mother Betty Haverstick; brothers Ray and Wayne Haverstick; sister Norma So Relle; grandchildren Rylee Harrington, Cameron Westerfield, Betty Glenn and two more on the way. Funeral services for Dee will be held at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Montgomery on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 10 AM with interment at New Montgomery Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, February 16, 2009 from 6 – 8 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Montgomery.
