| | | John Bedford Means, Jr., of Plantersville, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2009
at age 68. He was born January 5, 1941 to John and Nell B. Means, Sr. in Hugo, Oklahoma. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Means; two sons, John Bedford Means, III and Robert Christopher Means; grandchildren, Bryce Thomas Means and Chantel Cooper; brother, Robert Carol Means, of Texarkana, Texas; several nieces, and other relatives, and a host of friends.
John was a member of the Honea Baptist Church, Montgomery, Texas.
He retired from Sears, after serving 33 years. He graduated from Texas High School, Texarkana, Texas and attended Oklahoma State College.
Services will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, in Montgomery, Texas. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening 6-8 P.M., July 28th at the funeral home. Interment will be held on Thursday at Rondo Memorial Park in Texarkana, Arkansas at 2 P.M.
