| | | Florentina Barcelona Acosta of Montgomery, Texas passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the age of 74. She was born on March 27, 1935 to Jose and Juana Belano in the Philippines. Florentina is survived by her loving husband, Eugenio; her children, Edith Acosta Conlu & husband Jonathan, Martin & wife Elba Acosta, Maria C. Acosta, Eugenio B. Acosta, Eugene B. Acosta, Leilani Acosta Scholtz and husband Shane; grandchildren, Tyler Mullgrav, Sebastian Scholtz, Mialani Scholtz, Ahi Conlu, Kaiulani-Joy Conlu and David Vasquez. She is also survived by numerous other relatives, nieces and nephews and her loving pets, Dalhia, and Keiko.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2009 in the Chapel of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Montgomery, Texas at 2 p.m. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 25, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. You are invited to leave her family messages of condolences on our website at www.shmfh.com
