MOUNT DORA, FLORIDA: Sharon K. (Lobdell) Litton, 66, of Mount Dora, Florida, formerly of Richey, Montana, passed away on August 29, 2009 in Tavares, FL. Born in Sidney, MT on March 16, 1943 she moved to Florida from Nevada in 1997. Sharon grew up and attended elementary and high school in Richey, MT. Her parents Dayton and Selma Lobdell were very proud of her when she earned a BS degree from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN in 1965. She was the first in the family to earn a college degree.
Sharon began her teaching career at the Glasgow Air Force Base. She also taught school at Circle, MT and Anchorage, AK, where she met the love of her life Curtis Litton. Sharon and Curtis were married 39 years and had 3 children. Sharon loved being a homemaker and attending church.
Funeral Services were held in Umatilla, FL on September 2, 2009. Beyers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Sharon is survived by her husband: Curtis Litton, Mount Dora, FL; sons: Charles Litton (Shelley) and Mark Litton, both of Sanford, FL; daughter: Debra Litton, Lakeland, FL; brothers: Larry Lobdell (Kristine), Richey, MT and Terry Lobdell (Cathy), Glendive, MT; sisters: JoAnn Arthur (John), Richey, MT and Marva Handlemann (Art), Eustis, FL
