A Remembrance Gathering will be from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Yellowstone River Inn in Glendive.
|Glendive, Montana: Jeffrey Webb, age 56, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 after a short courageous battle with cancer at the Glendive Medical Center Extended Care with his family by his side. A Remembrance Gathering will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Yellowstone River Inn Pool Room. Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Jeff was born on November 4, 1955 in Yakima, Washington, the son of Fred and Doris (Porter) Webb. He was raised and educated in Naches, Washington graduating from Naches High School with the class of 1974. While Jeff attended school he enjoyed playing football, basketball, snowmobiling and hunting. Following graduation Jeff went to work for his dads lumber company, Webb Logging. Later he went to work for Jim Layman Logging and then Layman Lumber Company until it closed in 2007.
Jeff met Monica Moline on a blind date that was set up by her college roommate. They were later united in marriage on May 27, 1978 in Richland, Washington. They continued to make Washington their residence where Jeff enjoyed raising apples and pears until 2009 when they moved to Glendive where they have resided since. Jeff loved living in Glendive where he made friends easily.
Jeff always had fun fishing, teasing people, and he especially enjoyed hunting from Al's deer condo.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Doris Webb and sister, Cathey Webb.
Survivors include his wife, Monica Webb of Glendive, sister, Martha Webb of Bothell, Washington; two brothers, Duffy (Elaine) Webb and Chris Webb all of Yakima; sister-in-law, Paula Moline of Glendive; father and mother-in-law, Leroy and Pat Moline of Glendive; special nieces and nephews, Collin and Sarah Spangle of Montana and Jared Lowrey and Laura Conger of Washington.
