Sharon Mae Zinsli

  VIEW/SEND CONDOLENCES

Beach, North Dakota: Sharon Mae Zinsli, age 71, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012 at her home in Beach. No services are to be held. Interment will be held on a later date in the Beach City Cemetery in Beach. Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home of Beach has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Sharon was born on April 25, 1941, in Beach, a daughter of Clifford and Caroline “Carrie” (Miller) Clark. She was raised and educated in Beach, and received her GED.
Sharon was a coordinator of the Beach food Co-op for over twenty years and also worked at the Golden Valley News and Ted Houck’s Butcher Shop. She belonged to Bonnie View Homemaker’s Club, Daughters of the Revolution, Catholic Women’s Guild for St. John’s Catholic Church, and was a catechism teacher for a time and also a 4-H leader.
Among many things, Sharon loved playing cards, fishing, animals, and site seeing while going on road trips. Sharon loved music, she was a piano teacher for many years and could play several instruments. She also enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing, needlework, reading and her crafts. She loved to entertain her family and friends, but most of all she loved to have a house full of people. All that still couldn’t compare to what Sharon loved to do best, which was talk on the phone.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Nick Zinsli; five brothers-in-law, Richard Zinsli, Phil Cook, Arnold Bakken, Albert Rising, and Robert Schreiber; and one sister-in-law, Gudren Zinsli.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Zinsli, of Beach; five sisters-in-law, Mary Cook of Sentinel Butte, North Dakota, Irene Bakken of Wibaux, Montana, Josephine Rising of Menahga, Minnesota, Rose Schrieber of Glendive, Montana and Helen Zinsli of Alexandria, Minnesota; one, brother-in-law, Louie Zinsli of Alexandria; and numerous nieces and nephews.
