I am one of the nurses at Sycamore Village and did not know Verda for very long but what I did know of her was that she was a very sweet lady who did not want to be a bother to anyone, which she never was. She truly was a pleasure to take care of and I was sorry to hear that she had passed away. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. | From: Renee Platt 11/01/2008 01:05 PM

Very sorry to hear about your mother Diane. My heart goes out to you and your family.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
May God be with you through this difficult time.

I am the former Amy McVay (now Abbott) daughter of William and Marilyn McVay, all formerly of South Whitley. Mrs. Austin was my neighbor until 1966 and also I remember her being so kind at Dr. Huffman's office. I remember her helping Dr. Huffman when I would have to get shots (which I dreaded) and she was a kind and sweet person. To her family, especially Dianne who was near my age, God be with your during this difficult time.

I truly appreciated the opportunity to work with and for Verda while I was employed at the South Whitley Clinic. She was a great lady, very dedicated to her work and to her family. May you all remember the great memories you have and keep them close to your heart. | From: Darleen Wright 10/24/2008 09:46 AM
