| Helen Pratt, 95, of 1222 Benton Street in Boone passed away at the Boone County Hospital on Friday afternoon, October 23, 2009.
She was born on February 8, 1914 in Numa, Iowa the daughter of James and Ethel (Bumgarner) Pratt. Helen was the Office Manager for Standley Transfer and Storage in Boone until they closed their office. Her parents and a sister, Cecile Fenton, preceded her in death. The body has been cremated. There will be no visitations. Graveside services followed by interment will be held on Thursday afternoon, October 29th at 1:00 p.m. at the Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone with Rev. Bruce Thomas officiating. | ||
