Mr. David R. Fryer, age 68 of Forrest City died Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at his home in Forrest City. His death came sudden and unexpected.

Mr. Fryer was born November 16, 1938 in Forrest City, and was the son of Richard Fryer and Lucille Taylor Fryer. He lived in Forrest City most of his life, was a forklift mechanic, an employee of Forrest City Federal Compress, and attended Ridgewood Church.

Mr. Fryer married Delores Thomason in 1955, and she survives him along with three sons, Robert Fryer of Memphis, Butch Fryer and David Fryer both of Wynne; one daughter, Ann Hadley of Wynne; two brothers, Daniel Fryer of Forrest City and Paul Fryer of Caldwell; two sisters, Mary Bargary of Colt and Martha Carlisle of Fair Oaks. Eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren also survive him.

Services will be held at Stevens Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 9, 2007. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 at the funeral home Thursday. Under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Mrs. Fryer.
