| | | Mrs. Helen Elizabeth Davis, age 95, of Marion, died Friday at the Crittenden Memorial Hospital in West Memphis. She had been in the hospital for the past day.
Mrs. Davis was born January 23, 1913, in Russellville, Alabama, and was the daughter of Frank K. White and Helen Irene Daily White. She was a house mother for the Kappa Delta Sorority at the University of Alabama, and was a Baptist.
Mrs. Davis married Baker J. Davis and he preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons; James D. Davis of Sun City Center, Florida, and Harold D. Davis of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and one daughter, Nancy D. Earwood of Marion, twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. She had two daughters, Bettye Blankenship and Mary Jane Pierce, who preceded her in death.
Services for Mrs. Davis will be held Graveside, 11:00 A.M., Monday, at the Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City. Visitation will be Sunday evening 6:00 till 8:00 P.M., at Stevens Funeral Home with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Memorials are to be made to the First Baptist Church, 200 N.
