| | | Mr. Gordon 'Ray' Daniels, age 48, of Forrest City, died Sunday at his home in Forrest City. He had been in poor health for the past year.
Mr. Daniels was born June 18, 1959, in Wynne, and was the son of Gordon Daniels and Donna Morgan Daniels. He lived in Forrest City most all of his life, was owner of G & G Refrigeration, was a graduate of Forrest City High School, was a Veteran of the Navy, and was a Baptist. He was a member of the Forrest City Country Club, was recipient of two Navy Achievement Medals and Presidential Citation, and was awarded Sailor of the Year.
Mr. Daniels married Carolyn Jones in 1995, and she survives him along with his mother, Donna Daniels of Forrest City, one sister, Debbie McCluskey and husband, Richie of Forrest City, one niece, Wendy McCluskey, one nephew, Tyler McCluskey, a foster daughter, Amanda Grobmeyer, and a host of family and friends.
Services for Mr. Daniels will be held Graveside, 2:00 P.M., Tuesday at the Loughridge Cemetery in Colt. Visitation will be Monday evening 6:00 till 8:00 P.M., at Stevens Funeral Home with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. You may log on to stevensfuneralhome.net for the on line registry.
