Mr. Don Bell, age 65, of Forrest City, died Friday at his home in Forrest City. He had been in poor health for the past two years.

Mr. Bell was born August 3, 1942, in Wynne, and was the son of Cecil Bell and Mary Weeks Bell. He was retired from state government and was a business man. His interest was in art and gardening. He had his own art showing in the 1970's in East Memphis and had several shows in Arkansas at various locations. He studied landscape design in college. Graduated from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas and belonged to the Honorary Scholastic Art Fraternity.

Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Bell and Mary Weeks Bell, a brother, Cecil Wayne Bell, two sisters; Maxine Bell Gilbreath and Marion Bell Whitaker. He had four nieces, two nephews, eight great nieces, seven great nephews, six great-great nieces, and five great-great nephews.

Services for Mr. Bell will be held Graveside 11:00 A.M., Monday, at the Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City. You may log on the stevensfuneralhome.net for the on line registry.
