| | | Mrs. Ruby Lee Dunavant, age 85, of Forrest City, died Wednesday at the Forrest City Medical Center in Forrest City. She had been in the hospital for the past five days.
Mrs. Dunavant was born July 9, 1922, in Tomato, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Forrest H. Lofton and Mary Wales Lofton. She lived in Forrest City most of her life, was a housewife, and was a member of the Widener Methodist Church.
Mrs. Dunavant is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James E. Dunavant Jr. and wife Marilyn, of Little Rock, a daughter-in-law, Mabel Maxwell of Bryant, two grandchildren; Lance Dunavant and Heather Dunavant, and a special friend, James Starkey. She was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Dunavant, in 1996.
Services for Mrs. Dunavant will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 11:00 A.M., Friday with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. Until service time Friday.
