| | | Mrs. Arminta M. Crain age 69, of Forrest City, Arkansas died Friday, July 25, 2008 at the Methodist Hospital in Memphis.
Mrs. Crain was born December 8, 1938 in Scranton, Arkansas. She was the daughter of James Alvin Clayborn and Effie Jane Cowell. She was a housewife and a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.
Mrs. Crain married Gerald Lee Crain in 1971 and he preceded her in death in 1984. She is survived by a son James Crain of Forrest City; three stepsons, Gerald Crain Jr. and David Crain both of Knoxville, and Barry Crain of Selmar, Tennessee; a stepdaughter, Judy Williams of Jackson, Tennessee; two sisters, Flora Etta Davis and Stella Harris both of Forrest City; a daughter-in-law Susan Padgett of Forrest City. She is also survived by two grandsons, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 28, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at 12:00 p.m. at Forest Hills Midtown Cemetery in Memphis.
