| | | Mr. Cleveland R. Davis, age 93, of Forrest City, died Thursday at his home in Forrest City. He had been in poor health for the past several months.
Mr. Davis was born August 22, 1915, in Forrest City, and was the son of Arthur Davis and Martha Ada Nichols Davis. He lived in Forrest City all of his life, was a past employee of General Industries and was a farmer, and was a Methodist.
Mr. Davis married Maude K. Hardin in 1940, and she preceded him in death in 1986. He is survived by two daughters; Margaret S. Davis and Carolyn Boyce, both of Forrest City, one son, Marion R. Davis of Forrest City, nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren. He had two children, Arthur M. Davis and Betty Diann Davis, one great-grandchild, Lauren E. Rolland, who all preceded him in death.
Services for Mr. Davis will be held Graveside, 10:00 A.M., Saturday, at the Hughes Cemetery in Forrest City. Visitation will be Friday evening 6:00 till 8:00 P.M., at Stevens Funeral Home with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. You may log on to stevensfuneralhome.net for the on line registry.
