| | | Mr. Roy W. Ford, age 67, of West Memphis, died Thursday at the Baptist Hospital in Memphis. He had been in the hospital for the past three weeks.
Mr. Ford was born September 12, 1940, in Palestine, and was the son of J. C. Ford Sr. and Lena Dover Ford. He lived in Forrest City most of his life and was a past employee of the Forrest City Times Herald and Yale Industries.
Mr. Ford married Linda Beshears in 1959, and she survives him along with two sons; Larry W. Ford of Heber Springs and Thomas E. Ford of Chicago, Illinois, two brothers; Cecil R. Ford of Forrest City and J. C. Ford Jr. of Marvell, two sisters; Linda A. Flowers of Pine Tree and Nancy Stain of Heber Springs, four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Services for Mr. Ford will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 2:00 P.M., Sunday, with burial in Hughes Cemetery. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. You may log on to stevensfuneralhome.net for the on line registry.
