| | | Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Alford, age 73, of Forrest City, died Sunday at the Baptist Hospital in Memphis. She had been in the hospital for the past two weeks.
Mrs. Alford was born October 6, 1935, in Hickory Ridge, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Joseph Coleman and Anna Belle Greenwood Coleman. She lived in Forrest City most of her life and was retired from General Industries.
Mrs. Alford married Clarence Alford Jr. in 1952, in he survives her along with one son, Donald Alford of Forrest City, three daughters; Deb Chapman and Brenda Morgan, both of Forrest City, and Jane Barnett of Cave City, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services for Mrs. Alford will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, with burial in Hughes Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening 6:00 till 8:00 P.M., at Stevens Funeral Home with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. You may log on to stevensfuneralhome.net for the on line registry.
