Mr. Lonnie J. Barron, age 62, of Malvern, died Monday at the Arbor Oaks Health and Rehab in Malvern. He had been in poor health for the past several months.
Mr. Barron was born June 21, 1946, in Tyronza, Arkansas, and was the son of Lonnie G. Barron and Winnie Odell Barron. He lived in Palestine before moving to Malvern and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mr. Barron is survived by three daughters; Lisa Jensen of Little Rock, Debbie Wiederspan of Hot Springs, and Tine LaGrange of Mt. Ida, his mother, Winnie Barron of Chicago, two sisters; eight grandchildren, a very close friend, Sherri Cruze of Hot Springs, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia L. Starr and a sister, Doris Kelly.
