| | | Mrs. Diane Astin age 67, of Forrest City, Arkansas died Wednesday, February 25, 2009 in Forrest City.
Mrs. Astin was born September 19, 1941 in Forrest City. She was the daughter of James Earl Wilson and Ernestine Gordon Wilson. Mrs. Astin was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church and also was a choir member. She was a member of the Musical Coterie.
Mrs. Astin married Darrell Astin in 1960. He survives him along with a daughter, Angela Knight and husband Jim of Wynne; two sons, Lowry Astin and wife Carla of Forrest City, Dudley Astin and wife Melissa of Fort Smith; a sister, Nancy Kidd of Forrest City; two brothers Jim G. Wilson of Mableville, Arkansas and Rev. Milton L. Wilson of Lecompte, Louisiana. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Services will be held Friday, February 27, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Burial will of follow at Forrest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 at the funeral home Thursday.
