| | | Mrs. Mary Lenora Danehower Varvil, age 58, of Forrest City, died Saturday at her home in Forrest City. Her death came sudden and unexpected.
Mrs. Varvil was born August 22, 1951, in Forrest City, and was the daughter of James E. Danehower and Marie Burns Danehower. She lived in Forrest City all of her life, was retired from the U.S.D.A. Farm Service Agency, was a farm consultant, was a member of the Farm Bureau Women's committee, was Vice-President of the Cattleman's Association, and was a member of the Palestine Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Varvil married Joe Varvil in 1975, and he survives her along with one son, James Varvil of Corning, Arkansas, one daughter, Beth Varvil of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and three brothers; Ronald K. Danehower of Kansas, Oklahoma, David 'Buddy' Danehower of Greenwood, Mississippi, and Jerry Danehower of Rogers, Arkansas.
Services for Mrs. Varvil will be held at the Palestine Cumberland Presbyterain Church, 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, 6:00 till 8:00 P.M., at Stevens Funeral Home with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
