| | | Mrs. Pauline Christy Targgart, age 89, of Moro, died Thursday at her home in Moro. She had been in poor health for the past week.
Mrs. Targgart was born June 2, 1920, in St. Francis County, and was the daughter of Hardy Wooten and Versie Crews Wooten. She lived in the Moro and Hot Springs area most of her life, was a housewife, and was a charter member of the Goodwin Baptist Church.
Mrs. Targgart is survived by one son, Elmer Christy of Texas, three daughters; Beatrice Schales of Hot Springs, Edath French of Moro, and Rita Keys of McKinney, Texas, two brothers; Harold Wooten of Hot Springs, and Ray Wooten of Plano, Texas, one sister, Alice Casey of Collierville, Tennessee, twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She had two children, Zeke Christy and Esther Hastings, who both preceded her in death.
Services for Mrs. Targgart will be held Graveside, 2:00 P.M., Sunday at the Salem Cemetery in Goodwin. Visitation will be Saturday evening 6:00 till 8:00 P.M., at Stevens Funeral Home with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
