Hospice Care of Kansas is made up of local hospice professionals and volunteers who are committed to providing the highest quality of care. Unlike many hospice organizations, Hospice Care of Kansas is locally owned and operated. Their roots are in this area, and they understand the needs of the community.
Hospice is a comprehensive, team oriented, medically directed program of care. The Hospice Team supports and comforts terminally ill patients and their loved ones. Hospice manages pain, controls symptoms, and understands the emotional and spiritual stresses are as significant as physical pain.
Hospice offers the terminally ill an opportunity for gracious living at the end of life. Hospice treats the person, not the disease, while providing care and support for their loved one.
