DONALD ARTHUR CLIFFORD, 52, Stockton, died Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville.

Don was born May 1, 1954 in Kyle, South Dakota the son of Floyd Joseph and Lula Jane (Twiss) Clifford. He graduated from Carson City High School in Carson City, Nevada. He attended Upward Bound at University of Nevada, Reno in pursuit of his civil engineering degree. Don spent a good portion of his life in Henderson, Nevada where he met and married Robyn Keiser. They were united in marriage on February 14, 1992 and enjoyed 14 years together as husband and wife. Shortly after they were married, Don and Robyn moved to Stockton. Don was a proud member of the Oglala Sioux Native American tribe of Pine Ridge, South Dakota. He spent his working life as a home builder and carpenter. Don was well known for his skills in every aspect of home construction and improvement.

Survivors include his wife, Robyn, of the family home; a son Jamie of Yerington, Nevada; a daughter Naomi of Mesa, AZ; a son Andy of Scottsdale, AZ; 5 sisters Linda of Tyler, TX, Donna of Las Vegas, NV, Susan of Las Vegas, NV, Hattie of Hill City, and Mary of Henderson, Nevada; a brother Robert of Las Vegas, Nevada; and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Shane, and a sister Beverly.

Visitation will be Thursday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Stockton Funeral Chapel, 805 North Cedar, Stockton, KS 67669.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 2, 2006 at the Stockton Funeral Chapel with Pastor Harlan Palser officiating. His body was cremated.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Donald Clifford Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
