| Atwood, Irdena Grace, age 87 of Dayton went home to be with her Lord and husband and sons on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Day Springs Nursing Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ewel; 2 sons, Douglas and Scott Atwood; and 4 brothers: Hobart, William, Eugene, and Mitchell Hall. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Rick Opp; daughter-in-law, Sharon (Atwood)Henderson; sister and brother-in-law, Pearl and Paul Werner; brother and sister-in-law, Albert and June Hall; sister-in-law, Moyne Hall; 5 grandchildren: Sonja and Ben Poffenberger, Craig and Mindy Horning, and Andrea, Daniel, and Brent Atwood; 13 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and good friend, Ida Gossett. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1940, and was a charter member of Bethel Temple Christian Church and retired from Huber Heights City Schools Food Service Dept. Funeral service 10 AM Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Bethel Christian A/G, 327 S. Smithville Rd. Pastor Ron Houser officiating. Interment Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
