| BROOKER, Dorothy L. age 86 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at Brighton Gardens in Centerville. Dorothy was born on June 10, 1922 in Springfield, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Bill and infant son, Gregory. Together, Dorothy and Bill nurtured a storybook romance which only two soul mates could enjoy. By example they taught us to love unconditionally and to honor one another with lifelong devotion. Family was Dorothy's passion. Her hobbies included playing bridge and golf with good friends, reading mystery novels, and preparing delicious meals for her family. Dorothy is survived by her sister, Helen Dirlam, her children, Katherine (Daniel), James (Michelle), Douglas (Victoria), Daniel (Ann), David (Margaret), and numerous grand and great grandchildren. We are comforted to know that Mom and Dad are together enjoying the love of our Heavenly Father. We would like to thank the loving staff members at Brighton Gardens for everything they have done for the Brooker family over the last two years. Mass of Christian Burial 12:30 pm Saturday, April 4, 2009 at St, Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd. Kettering, OH. Interment, Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday, from 11:30 am until time of service.
