| | | YEAGLE, June A. (MiMi), Age 89, of Kettering, OH, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Brighton Gardens Assisted Living, Centerville, OH. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, A. Douglas Yeagle. June is survived by her daughter Candace L. Clark; son-in-law Dan L. Clark of Kettering; grandchildren Jeff S. Clark of Fairfield, OH and Danielle L. Clark of Kettering, OH; as well as many close friends. Originally, from Pottstown PA., June worked as a dental assistant before moving to Dayton with her late husband in 1946. June and her husband were avid ballroom dancers and would spend their entire weekends dancing at local clubs. She also enjoyed traveling, china painting and entertaining friends. June was a charter member of the Women’s Noon Optimist Club in Kettering and remained very active with the club until her recent illness. She was also a founding member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. June’s family, including the family pets and music, were her primary focus in life after the passing her husband in 2001. She was especially proud of her daughter, Candy, an Art teacher at Fairmont High School and her two grandchildren who are also educators in the area. June was also a big fan of the Fairfield High School and Middle School Show Choirs that her grandson directs. Her family would like to thank the wonderful and caring staff at Brighton Gardens of Centerville and the Crossroads Hospice individuals for their assistance during June’s period of illness. A memorial service for June will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2009; at 1:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 901 East Stroop Road, Kettering Ohio. Rev. Thomas D. Prochaska officiating. Internment will be at David’s Cemetery Mausoleum in Kettering. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 8087 Washington Village Dr. Ste. 120, Dayton, OH 45458.
