| DUGGINS, Max Lt. Col, USAF, was given his Heavenly Wings on Wednesday April 15, 2009 and departed this life at 8:50 PM to be with the Lord. Max was born March 17, 1927, he lived a full life and impacted the lives of so many. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him, and leaves behind a lifetime of love and unselfishness, a legacy of leadership quite like any other. Max was a Pilot and Aerospace Research Engineer who served his Country as a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Air Force from 1952-1980, he earned degrees from Rose Polytechnic Institute, the University of Oklahoma and Rennsselaer Polytechnic Institute. Max is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Gisela. In addition to his loving wife, He is survived by his treasured children, daughter Jean, daughter Jill, His son Steven and daughter Patricia and his son in law’s Michael and Bryan. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, James (Jamie), Eva and Eliot. Max also leaves behind his dear sister Joann, his brother James and his brother in law Marcus. Inherited by marriage, his loving extended family includes, daughter’s Marion, Cindy, Debbie and son James. Max leaves numerous friends behind, too many to mention. He was a cherished friend to all who met him. The family would like to recognize and thank our especially loved Sophia Swann. We all love you and miss you so dearly. You will be in our hearts forever. A Memorial Service will be held for Max on Saturday May 2, 2009 at 2pm at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME- Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432, with Pastor John Nichols Officiating.
