RICHARD AND ANDREA TRAUNERO are the sole owners of the funeral home.
Rich is a fourth-generation Tiffinite, his great-grandfather having emigrated here from Italy in 1882. Rich is a graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School, attended Bowling Green State University, and graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He is a licensed embalmer and funeral director, as well as a licensed airplane pilot. Rich is a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin Kiwanis Club, Knights of Columbus, and serves on several area community boards of directors, including the Kiwanis Manor Board and the Finance Committee for the Tiffin City Schools. He is also a Past President of the Flying Funeral Directors of America. Rich is also involved as an Angel Flight Pilot, as well as a volunteer pilot for Pilots N Paws.
Andrea Traunero is a native of Columbus Grove, Ohio, and holds a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from B.G.S.U., and a Master's Degree in Administration from the University of Dayton. She was an elementary school teacher for twelve years before obtaining her funeral director license and joining her husband full time at the funeral home. Andrea is a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, St. Francis Auxiliary, a Substitute Teacher for Tiffin City Schools, she served on the Tiffin City Schools Building Facility Study Task Force, Parent Volunteer for Krout School and was an assistant Den Leader for the Bascom Bear Cub Scouts. The Traunero's have a son, Robert, and a daughter, Cassandra, both students in the Tiffin City Schools.

 | Nancy Lucius Office/Funeral Assistant Nancy is a native Tiffinite, where she graduated from Calvert High School. After high school, Nancy obtained a degree in Preschool Education and had worked for the Tiffin City Schools for the past twelve years. She has been married for 25 years to David Lucius, who works at the National Machinery of Tiffin. They have three children, Jackie, a recent graduate of Heidelberg College, Jessica, a current student at Heidelberg and Jacob, a student at the College of Wooster. The Lucius' are members of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Tiffin. In her spare time, Nancy enjoyes volunteering at school, gardening and baking. |  | Tony Granata Assistant Tony, better known in Tiffin as "Nini", has worked for Traunero Funeral Home since 1997. Nini is retired from Whirlpool Corp. in Clyde, and is a very active gentleman in the Tiffin area, enjoying golf and Calvert sports. He and his wife Marge are members of St. Mary Catholic Church. |  | Leonard Illig Assistant Len is retired from the Tiffin City Schools and has worked at Traunero Funeral Home since 1994. Len and his wife Bernie are active at St. Mary Catholic Church and he enjoys golf and travelling in his spare time. |  | Robert Sigler Assistant Robert is a native of Seneca County. He graduated from Columbian High School in 1987. He is a devoted family man with a wonderful wife named Chyla. Together, they have two children, Mariah and Brady Sigler. They are members of Christ's Church at Tiffin. Robert is retired from the Seneca County Sheriff's office and the United States military. He is a veteran of Panama and also Iraq. Robert is currently attending Terra Community College. He will transfer to Bowling Green State University. The major Robert is studying is Social work. In the future, Robert would like to be a Social Worker in Seneca County. |  | Terry Nusbaum Assistant Terry Nusbaum is a Tiffin native and is a part time assistant for Traunero Funeral Home. He also is employed at Tiffin Developmental Center. He is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He and his wife, Elaine, have two grown children, Ryan and Ashley. Terry enjoys travelling, bowling and golf. |  | Lowell Forbes Assistant Lowell Forbes is Andrea Traunero's father, and is a native of Columbus Grove, Ohio. He and his wife Nancy moved to Tiffin in 1997. Lowell is a retired school treasurer and is active with the United Way and the Tiffin Kiwanis Club. He is a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. |  | Nancy Forbes Assistant Nancy Forbes is Andrea's mother and is a native of Lima, Ohio. She is a retired registered nurse and is active on the Boards of Directors of F.A.C.T., the YMCA, and Y-wives. She is a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. |  | Robert Traunero Assistant Bob Traunero is Richard's father and is a Tiffin native. He is retired from Whirlpool Corp. in Clyde and is active at the YMCA. He is a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. |  | Lois Traunero (1924-2008) Assistant Lois Traunero (1924 - 2008) was Richard's mother and was raised in the Fremont/Clyde area.
