Elsie Mae Scarborough | | | | | Powells Point, NC
Elsie Mae Scarborough, 80, of Powells Point died Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Sentara Nursing Center – Currituck. Born in Duck, she was the daughter of the late Levin D. and Ethel Kight Scarborough and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Linwood and Ben Scarborough.
Ms. Scarborough is survived by a sister, Betty Chason of Southern Shores; three brothers, Fred D. Scarborough and wife Elizabeth and Robert B. Scarborough all of Powells Point and Gerry L. Scarborough and wife Theresa of Duck; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at the Austin Cemetery, Kitty Hawk on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 2:00 PM by the Rev. David Coxson.
Twiford Funeral Homes, Colony Chapel, Manteo, NC is assisting the family with arrangements.
