Ruth Welch | | | | | Southern Shores, NC
Ruth Louise Hagan Welch, 87, died Sunday, October 25, 2009 in Nags Head, NC. Born in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Harlan W. and Frances Wiles Hagan and was the widow of James Robert Welch. She was retired from the Department of Justice as a secretary and was a member of Holy Redeemer By the Sea Catholic Church, the Kitty Hawk Fire Department Auxiliary, and the Christian Women of the Outer Banks.
Mrs. Welch is survived by two sisters, Mildred Haas of Frederick, MD and Margaret Keegan of Gaithersburg, MD.
The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Holy Redeemer By the Sea Catholic Church by the Rev. Terry Collins and the Rev. Dr. William F. Walsh, O.S.F.S. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Redeemer By the Sea Catholic Church, P.O. Box 510, Kitty Hawk, NC 27949.
