Margaret T. Cint (Terry)



Chesapeake – Margaret Terrell Cint, 66, died October 27, 2009. Mrs. Cint was born in Charleston, WV to the late Vera Woods Shaffer-Sevits and the late Marvin Shaffer. She resided in Widen WV until she turned eighteen. She was a veteran, having served in the US Navy. Mrs. Cint was a homemaker and had retired from the Naval Commissary. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crafts and was an avid reader. Mrs. Cint was a former Red Cross volunteer and Virginia Pilot Ledger Star Neighborhood Counselor. Mosgt of all she was a Navy Wife. She was predeceased by her parents, Vera and Marvin; sister, Judy Tacy; and brother, Harry Shaffer.



Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 47 years, Ronald C. Cint; daughter, Jamie Cint of Marietta, GA; sons, Michael Cint of Tacoma, WA and Christopher Cint and wife Tina of Sarasota, FL; step-sister, Kay Hardesty; brother-in-law, Jerry Tacy; grandchildren, Victoria and Kaitlin Cint; close family friends, the Austins, Websters and Moores.



The family will receive friends at Twiford’s Colonial Chapel, Chesapeake on Friday from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm. Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.twifordfh.com.
