Bessie Kramer | | | | | Manteo, NC
Bessie Carnes Kramer, 82, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2009. Born in Rome, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late James Euclid Carnes and Catherine Dempsey Carnes. She is predeceased by her husband, Theodore Charles Kramer and her siblings; three sisters and thirteen brothers. She is survived by her son, Theodore C. “Ted” Kramer, Jr. of Manteo, NC and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Kramer lived in the Richmond, Virginia area for several years and, after her husband’s death, served as President of Kramer Brothers, Inc. She retired to Manteo and enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and her special dog, Magnum.
A Visitation will be held from 6 – 8:00 pm on Friday, October 30, 2009 at Twiford Funeral Home in Manteo. A Funeral Service will be held at Bliley’s Funeral Home, Central Chapel, in Richmond, VA on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 2:00 pm, with a Visitation before the service, from 1 – 2:00 pm. Burial will occur in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Twiford Funeral Homes, Colony Chapel, Manteo, NC is assisting the family with arrangements.
