Established in 1962, the first Walton Funeral Home was started at 875 West Second Street. Edward McCaffery Jr. has owned and operated the facility and expanded to locations in Reno, Sparks, Carson City, Minden and Susanville.
In 1986 Ed McCaffery''s daughter, Tammy Brunson, entered the funeral industry and joined the family business. Walton Funeral Home is the only locally owned and operated Funeral Home in the area.
Today, we continue to provide the same concern and professionalism that has become our trademark. Even though we are a local, family owned establishment, we have served families on five continents by virtue of our expertise in the national and international shipment of remains.
