| | | Betty Lou Parker, 68, of Waxahachie, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2007 in a Dallas hospital. She was born on May 17, 1939 in Jacksboro, Texas.
Betty loved her family, children and grandchildren. She retired from AT&T as an operator after 20 years of service. She enjoyed playing Bingo and working puzzles. She will be missed by so many who knew her and loved her.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa G. Parker of Winona, Donna R. Parker of Waxahachie; sons, Terry D. Parker of Mesquite, Michael E. Parker of Waxahachie; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Earl Parker; parents, Lee & Myrtle Forbus; and a brother, Kenneth Wayne Forbus.
Services to celebrate Betty's life are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2007 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 21, 2007 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie, Texas.
