Macel Lundy, age 98, of Linton, passed away on Tues. afternoon, Oct. 2, 2007, at Glenburn Home in Linton. She was born Dec. 16, 1908, in Lyons, the daughter of Albert Wright & Belva (Johnson) Wright Lilly.
She had worked for the Real Silk factory in Linton, the Hi-Q-Lo-P in Switz City, & at Crane NWSC. She was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church of Jasonville & was a longtime volunteer at Glenburn Home. She loved to sew, quilt, & crochet.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Lundy & his wife, Bonnie, of Switz City, Willis Lundy & his wife, Shirley, of Reelsville, & Frank Lundy & his wife, Irma, of Brazil, a daughter, Sarah Mae Hollingsworth & her husband, Wayne, of Linton, fifteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, & twenty-nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-two years, Charles Lundy, on July 29, 1976, a son & daughter-in-law, James & Norma Lundy, a grandchild, John Tracy Lundy, two sisters, Hazel Banner & Maxine Mrozek, & a brother, Hurschel Wright.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. Fri., Oct. 5, at Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Jasonville, Pastor Bob Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Switz City Cemetery.
Friends may call at 12 noon Fri. at the church until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations go to Blessed Hope Baptist Church or the Glenburn Home Volunteer Fund through the funeral home.
