Eric Lee Bridges

Eric Lee Bridges, age 33, of Linton, passed away Wed. evening, June 22, 2005, at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. He was born Jan. 21, 1972, in Terre Haute, the son of Roger & Janice (Barnes) Bridges.

He owned & operated Log Dog Construction, was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Vicksburg, & was a United States Air Force veteran of Desert Storm. He coached several Linton youth leagues, including baseball, football, & basketball, currently coached the Linton Babe Ruth Red Team, was an avid bass fisherman, & was a 1990 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School.

He is survived by his wife, Kristyn D. (Miller) Bridges of Linton, whom he married June 2, 1991, a son, Kaleb Lee Bridges & a daughter, Madisyn Danell Bridges, both at home, his parents, Roger & Janice Bridges of Linton, a sister, Lori (Gary) Scott, of Linton, maternal grandparents, Kenneth & Geneva Barnes of Linton, paternal grandparents, Donald & Betty Bridges of Jasonville, mother & father-in-law, Mike & Kathy Lee of Linton, & three brothers-in-law, Jay (Charlotte) Miller, Michael Miller, & Dane(Melissa) Lee, six nephews, Skylar & Jaran Scott, Jaydan Miller, Adam & Abram Neff, & Anthony Lee, & a niece, Kelsea Scott.

He was preceded in death by a paternal grandmother, Barbara Martin, & his
father-in-law, Danny Miller.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Mon., June 27, at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel, with Pastor Doug Cassel officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The Linton American Legion & VFW will conduct military graveside rites.

Friends may call from 4-9 P.M. Sun. & after 9 A.M. Mon.
