| Jerry C. Dotson, age 67, of Worthington passed away at 1:19 P. M. Thursday, September 8, 2005 at Greene County General Hospital.
He was born July 6, 1938 in St. Charles, Virginia to Charles & Mabel (Turner) Dotson. He was a retired truck driver. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marines He is survived by his mother, Mabel (Turner) Dotson Hogarth of Mooresville; his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" (Reece) of Worthington one son, Brian Dotson of Worthington;one daughter, Leah Waggoner of Kansas City, Kansas three brothers; Danny Dotson of Paragon; Richard Dotson of Fishers; Roger Dotson of Mooresville; three sisters, Kathleen Freeman of North Carolina; Glenda Hubbard of Monrovia; Gloria Poe of Martinsville; six grandsons and one great grandson. He is also survived by his constant companion, his dog Ms Piggy. He was preceded in death by his father, step-father Les Hogarth and 1 sister Charlotte Dotson. Service will be at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington 2:00 P. M. Sunday Sept. 11, 2005 with Jack Tolbert, officiating. Friend may call at Welch & Cornett 4:00 to 8:00 P. M. Saturday and noon Sunday until time of service. Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery. | ||
