Clarence Frederick Evans, 85, of Hague, passed away on Thursday January 10, 2013. He was a member of Coles Point United Methodist Church, a retired plumber and electrician, and a retired World War II Army Air Corp veteran. He was preceded in death by his wives, Virginia Bowen Evans and Genieve Ellis Evans.
He is survived by his daughters Mary Virginia Evans and Patricia (Patsy) E. Sanderson; a devoted son-in-law, David E. Sanderson, Jr. all of Hague; one step-daughter Margaret Estelle Ellis and her husband, Littleton, of King George; two grandchildren, David Jason Sanderson and his wife, Dawn of Bay St. Louis, MS., and Amy Reamy-Elliott and her husband, Spencer, of Hague; one sister, Francis E. Jenkins of Warsaw; one great-grandson, Dylan Lewis Elliott; and three step-great grandchildren, George H. Bunch V, Christian N. Bunch and Trenton Elliott.
A memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Montross Chapel of the Welch Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fredericksburg SPCA, 10819 Courthouse Rd.
