Nancy S. Wilkins, 60, of Montross, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Nancy was a member of Providence United Methodist Church and a retired Registered Nurse for Riverside Tappahannock Hospital, where she had worked twenty plus years in the Emergency Department.
Survivors are her two daughters, Rebecca Minor (Charles) of Nomini Grove and Angela Jones (Donnie) of Montross; a son, John Wilkins of Fredericksburg; her lifelong love and soul mate, Johnny Wilkins; her six grandchildren, Rick Rose, Mike Rose, Grace Minor, Trey Wilkins, Devany Jones, and D.J. Jones; her sister, Ruth S. Packett (Stanley) of Montross ; her nephew, James Packett (Theresa) of Montross; and her aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Collins and Katie Sanford.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Providence United Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Montross Chapel of the Welch Funeral Home.
