Darvin E. Sharratt, 74, West Fargo, ND, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2009, at Innovis Hospital, Fargo, ND.
Darvin E. Sharratt was born June 9, 1935, in Rolette, ND to Erwin and Leah (Boucher) Sharratt. He grew up on the family farm and attended rural school before graduating from Rolette High School. Following high school, he attended Minot State for awhile. On October 11, 1959, Darvin married Maxine Sveum at Rugby, ND. They lived in Cando, Cooperstown and Fargo, ND. Darvin had an auto repair business in Fargo and West Fargo from 1966 to 2006.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Donald and granddaughter, Jessica Howard.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine; daughter, Janet (Mike) Stebner, West Fargo; son, Jerome (Jackie), Fargo; sister, Sandra Gilje, Rolette; grandchildren, Sabrina Stebner, Mike Banks, Stephanie Sharratt, and Kellie Sharratt; great grandchildren, Kenneth and Katelyn Banks, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Wednesday from 5 to 6 at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND, with a prayer service at 6
Memorial Service: Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 2 in Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND
