Charles C. Blakemore, 67, of El Paso, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family and friends on Monday, May 18, 2009. His good friends knew him as “Boss Hog”. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Georgia (Simpson) Blakemore; a sister, Faylene Blakemore; and two brothers, Frankie and Bill Blakemore.
Charles is survived by his wife of seventeen years, Paula (Kirkland) Blakemore; two daughters, Vicki Eaves and husband Jeff of Bee Branch, Charla Rousey and husband Eric of Elberton, Georgia; one son, Jimmy Blakemore of Georgia; stepdaughter, Danielle Schneider and husband Greg of Beebe; stepson, Andy Earles and girlfriend Brandy of El Paso; two brothers, Joe Blakemore and wife Bennie, John Blakemore and wife Sue of El Paso; a sister, Linda Robinette and husband Chesley, of Hernando, Mississippi; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2009, at First Baptist Church, El Paso, with burial in Grissard Cemetery.
The family would like to say a special thanks to Dr. Ryan Koch and the staff at White County Oncology, CARTI – Searcy, Hospice Home Care, and everyone who did all they could do during this time of need.
