Viola S. Caveness, 96, originally of Winslow Arkansas, passed away June 14, 2009, at White County Hospital. She had made Beebe her home for the last several years. She worked along with her husband for over forty years at Burns Gables Restaurant on Hwy. 71 in Winslow. Viola was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth; her parents, Washington Irving and Cora Etta (Ellis) Stone; sister Faye Neal; brothers Bedford, Louis, Clarence, Elton and W. C. (Top) Stone. She is survived by her caregivers, her nieces Jean Bradford of Beebe, Bobbie Loftin of Hensley and nephew C. D. Neal of Houston, Texas; and several other nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2009, at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
