Allen Shearls Taylor, 73, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, left this earth for another home on June 26, 2009 at four a.m.

Allen is preceded in death by his father, Addy Earl Taylor; mother, Viola Taylor; two sons, James Earl and Albert Earl Taylor; two brothers and four sisters.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Doris Jean Taylor; one daughter, Barbara McNeese of St. Joe, Arkansas; one sister, Mary Aires of Dinuba, California; four grandchildren, Dawn Stills of St. Joe, Arkansas, Crystal Basidon of Western Grove, Arkansas, Albert Earl Taylor, Jr. and Joe Kyle Taylor; daughter-in-law, Jo Anne Taylor all of Sarapeta, Louisiana; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and a special friend and caregiver, Jean Wiggs.
Cremation will follow the service.
