Ellis Howell, 88, of Sylvania, Arkansas, was born November 16, 1920 at Sylvania, Arkansas to Henry Adolphus and Mary Flanigan Howell and passed away on July 26, 2009. He was a retired dairy farmer and a member of the Sylvania Presbyterian Church. Mr. Howell and his wife, Jennalea, cared for and maintained the Sylvania Presbyterian Church and cemetery for over forty years, as well as many other local cemeteries in the area. Mr. Howell is survived by his wife of sixty eight years, Jennalea Ross Howell; three daughters, Janet Richardson and husband, Jim, Doris Howell all of Sylvania and Dr. Kathy Howell of Dawsonville, Georgia; four granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren.
