Lucille Malone Sowell, 90, of Cabot, Arkansas, was born April 25, 1919, at Beebe, Arkansas, to James and Nellie (Isbell) Malone, and she died Tuesday, August 4, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Sowell; her parents; and five siblings. Lucy is survived by her son, James Sowell and wife Christine of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three grandsons, Jeffrey, Jeremy and wife Carrie, and Joseph Sowell; four great-grandchildren, Haile, McKinley, Gunner and Gage Sowell; and two sisters-in-law, Jerry and Margie Sowell. Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 7, 2009, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with burial in Old Austin Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Southside Church of Christ, P.O. Box 512, Cabot, AR 72023.
