| | | Christopher Lee Brown 37 of Lake In The Hills. Ill., formerly of Spencer, died Monday October 3, 2005 while working for the Wheeling Public Works. Born September 25, 1968 to Jack Brown and Carol (Smith) Brown. Chris was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving Desert Storm. He graduated from Owen Valley High School in 1987. He is survived by his wife Shannon (Sweatman) Brown, daughter Hailee Michelle Brown, his parents Jack and Lora Brown of Gosport, Carol and Stephen Ableman of South Carolina. Brother Tim Brown of South Carolina. Grandparents Mearl and Laverne Brown of Gosport. Half brother Troy(Stacey) Brown of Greenwood, and half sister Angie (Toma) Speer of Bloomfield. Step brothers Mark (Leslie) and Paul (Brandy) Ableman. Chris is preceded in death by his grandparents Floyd and Effie Smith. Funeral services will be Friday, 8:00 P.M. at Kolssak Funeral Home in Wheeling, Ill, with visitation 2:00 P.M. until service time. Another service will be in Spencer, on Sunday at the Spencer Christian Church at 5:00 P.M. with visitation from 12:00 noon until service time.
