Ruth Bruner 93 of Spencer died Sunday December 4, 2005 at her residence. She was born April 7, 1912 in Monroe County to John W. and Cora (Hendricks) Keller. Ruth was the oldest member of the Salem Separate Baptist Church. She retired from Indiana University. Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law. Lloyd and Kay Bruner. Daughters and sons-in-law, M. Maxine and Harold Burks, Barbara J. and Otis Freeman, Martha L. and Joe Terrell all of Spencer. Janet and Don Hamm of Bloomington, and Jacque and Frank Stigall of Bedford. Three brothers, Robert Keller of Ellettsville, Fred Keller of Bloomington, and Carol Keller of Salem. Sisters Ruby Perkins of Ellettsville and Betty Sanders of Solsberry. 11 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 9 great great garandchildren. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents 3 infant siblings, 2 grandchildren, one great grandchild, and one great great grandchild. Three brothers, Wendell, Elmer, and Johnny Keller, and one sister Dorothy Prow.
Funeral services will be Wednesday December 7, 11:00 A.M. at the Salem Separate Baptist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the West & Parrrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, and Wednesday at the church from 10:00 A. M. until service.Rev. Jim Stump and Rev. Johnny Perkins will officat and burial will be at Gross Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Bloomington Hospital or the American Concer Society % of the funeral home.
