| | | Thomas Edward Drescher, 73 of Spencer died Saturday, December 31, 2005 at the Bloomington Hospital. He was born in Spencer on November 3, 1932, to Fred and Adam E. (Collier) Drescher. Tom was a bulk oil dealer for Marathon Oil in Owen County. He was a member of the Spencer Christian Church and a U.S. Army veteran.
Tom is survived by his wife, Sue (Smith) Drescher, and son Terry Drescher of Spencer, four brothers Robert, James, David Drescher of Spencer and Barney Drescher of Freedom and four grandsons and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2006, at 11:00 A.M. at the Chambersville Cemetery in Owen County with Pastor Robert Wilson and James P. Root officiating. There will be graveside military rites by the Spencer American Legion and V.F.W.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Spencer Christian Church in care of the funeral home.
